Because of the density of user contact, the design has become a reflection of modern culture. After this statement, it is natural to ask: What changes in design are and will be occurring in the near future? How will socio-cultural changes affect it?
The design of the present and the future have their own rules
The middle of the 21st century promises to be rich in breakthroughs in scientific and technological progress and the resolution of related socio-cultural and worldview problems. In the information environment, entropy is growing and we do not have time to process all the information.
For several years now, minimalism has been “the new black” in the design of various trends – designers are trying to optimize interaction with users and keep the interface clean. An example of eco-friendliness is the dark theme, a trend for 2022, whose popularity is only growing. It saves the device’s charge and reduces the strain on eyesight.
Interface design promises to increasingly focus on the user experience, and the emotional and conceptual proximity of design will serve as the most important criterion for product success. The user of a product will become increasingly specific, the design environment will be tailored to his or her individual needs.
The design of the near future will return us from hyper-reality to reality. More precisely, it will make it real, universal, and vital.
